Hi Everyone!

I have a super simple card today for the current Time Out Challenge.  The theme is Black, White and one Color.

I’ve gone with pink as my one color, and I’m using some new goodies from a brand new stamp range – Erin Lee Creative.  More to come created with these in future posts, but for now I’m using the beautiful Sketched Floral background.  This background will look great colored, but it is also perfect stamped just in black (I used Catherine Pooler’s Midnight ink) onto white cardstock.

For the sentiment, I used the new Be Brave die. and die cut it 4 times from white cardstock and once from Hot Pink cardstock by Simon Says Stamp.  I layered them all together with liquid glue, and then adhered the pieces directly to the card panel.  For some sparkle. I added a layer of Raspberry Tart stickles (very similar to the Hot Pink to keep the monochromatic look) over the die cut.

I love how this turned out – monochromatic is always classy!

Be sure to join in with the challenge, which is sponsored by Happy Little Stampers, to be in with a chance to win $20 to spend in their store (they also have a huge closing down sale currently ongoing).  We are also joined this week by Guest Designer Joanna.  She’s created some fabulous inspiration cards for you and be sure to check out her blog – stunning!

Have a wonderful day!

  1. Well you were brave to stamp that beautiful floral image on the background and not color it! Love that look! And the sentiment is fab in pink glitter.
