Hi Everyone!

It’s time for another Time Out Challenge, and this week we are focusing on Spring (with an optional twist of a One Layer Card).  The winner’s prize is sponsored by Uniko and I was also lucky enough to receive the Flower Power #4 set to play with.   I paired it with the new Gina K Wreath Builder stencil to create a bright floral wreath (two yellow cards in a month for me!)

I cut a panel of Premium White cardstock by Catherine Pooler to 4″ square and using my MISTI and the Gina K stencil, stamped the solid floral image from the Uniko set, alternating light and dark yellows (Simon Says Stamp Lemon Chiffon and Sunshine).  I then did the same with the outline stamp, alternating SSS Coral Reef and SSS Clementine.  I stamped the small floral circle outline in the centre with SSS Duckling, and then small cluster image using the wreath stencil again with SSS Catkin.  I love this wreath stencil – this was my first time using it, and the Uniko set was perfect to create wreaths.  I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink in the centre.  Look at that gorgeous font – I think it is one of my faves.  There are a few other sentiments in the set in the same font too.

I adhered the panel to a mat of Catherine Pooler Sand Dunes cardstock trimmed to 4 1/8″ square, and adhered the whole piece with foam squares to a card base of Neenah 110lb white cardstock 4.25″ x 8.5″ scored at 4.25″ to create a square card.   To finish, I added Nuvo drops – Jewel Drops in Key Lime around the edge, and Glitter Drops in Yellow Bird and Glossy drops in English Mustard for the flower centres.

Hope you like it! Don’t forget to take part, and go check out the rest of the team’s inspiration.  This week we are also joined by Kimberly as Guest Designer.  Her card is jaw-dropping (as usual!!).

Have a wonderful week!

Jenny x
