Hi Everyone!
I’m popping in to show you another card I created with the latest Zen Garden release by Catherine Pooler Designs, but first some Stampnation news! Over the next three weeks, StampNation is going to have lots more new Video Tutorials and Challenges for 2018. Tomorrow is our first challenge of 2018, and there will be lots of Creative Team inspiration for StampNation members to feast their eyes on and take part in. Here’s a sneaky peek for you:
StampNation is a members only site. Head on over to www.thestampnation.com to sign up. We recently had a Birthday Card Stash month, with video tutorials courtesy of Winnie & Walter, Brutus Monroe, and lots of other amazing companies. I hope to see you there!
Now onto my card today, where I’m playing with the Stained Glass Coverplate again (because it’s amazing) and also the Zen Feather stamp set and dies from the new release.
To create my card, I created a card base using Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock and set aside. I die cut the Stained Glass coverplate from Tonic Frosted Silver Mirror cardstock and adhered it with spray adhesive to a panel of dark purple cardstock to 4.25″ x 5.5″.
I heat embossed the large feather from the Zen Feather stamp set twice onto 40lb vellum and heat embossed it in WOW! Metallic Platinum Sparkle embossing powder. I die cut them with the co-ordinating die and adhered to the card panel, overlapping, using clear foam tape.
I die cut the You die from the new release from fun foam and white glitter cardstock and adhered them together with liquid glue and adhered overlapping the feathers to the card base. The ‘love’ sentiment was created using a vintage Dymo label maker and adhered with foam tape. To finish, I scattered a few of clear crystal rhinestones.
Hope you like it! The entire release can be found below.
