Hi Everyone,
I was inspired to make a CAS shaker card today after getting a gorgeous paper pack from Michael’s with lovely aqua, mint and pink colors.
I cut a panel from some of the paper using the largest Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles die and a Vented Star die. I then adhered acetate using Tombow Monomulti glue to the back of the panel covering the star, and lined the star and the edges of the panel with a double layer of foam tape.
I then filled the star with micro beads in a beautiful pink color (not too many so they could still shake) and backed the panel with some Neenah Solar White 80lb card stock. I adhered the whole thing to a Simon Says Stamp black card base.
For the sentiment, I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Painted Hello from gold foil cardstock and from fun foam. I adhered them together with liquid glue and then adhered to the front of the card. The fun foam gives great dimension without having to mess about trimming out tiny bits of foam tape! As a finishing touch I added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins in mint and sparkling clear.
I’m entering this into the Fusion Challenge as the mint and black and stripes and pink match the photo inspiration and I think the font is pretty similar too!

Pink and gold what a FAB combo, I love it Jenny!! You have definitely rocked this one that's for sure. Love it's a shaker card too. Hugs XX
Adore this ombré look and such clever detail. I am useless at shaker cards and just don't go there anymore but this is a delight x
Gorgeous card and such a fun take on the challenge! Love that star used as a shaker – so clever! Thanks so much for joining us at Fusion Card Challenge.
