Hi Everyone! Altenew is releasing its brand new Craft Your Life kit today – Hello Beautiful! Which is exactly what I said when I opened up my happy mail! 😀 Today’s post is part of a blog hop and giveaway which starts over on the Altenew blog, if didn’t land here from Rosie’s blog.

I kept my card fairly simple because I really wanted to focus on my coloring. I stamped one of the main blooms in Permanent Black ink, then colored it in with my alcohol markers using Rock Garden and Tropical Garden sets. You can see, I also added some white gel pen highlights.

I die cut out the floral and mounted it onto a really simple background. I created it by painting clean clear water in a small area in the centre and then dropping pink watercolor paint in the centre. I dried it, then stamped the sentiment over the top in Obsidian ink.

I mounted flower over the watercolor, and adhered the panel, trimmed to 4 x 5.25 using craft foam. I added a few gold dot embellishments to finish!
