Hello everyone!
Welcome to my stop on the Spellbinders Holiday 2021 hop!! We’re showcasing the christmas and holiday goodies that were recently released by Spellbinders and hopefully giving you more inspiration to use your stash!
For my project today I grabbed the Layered Christmas Tree Stencil from the Trim a Tree Collection. Its a fun layering stencil and I wanted to see if I could layer heat embossing to create my tree – well it worked!
I used a panel of A2 vellum, and then smushed my embossing ink pad through the openings on the snow section of the stencil. I then heat embossed with white embossing powder. The tree layer was a pearlescent green, then gold ornaments, and then a sparkly glitter pink for the star, overlaid with gold. (All my embossing powders are by WOW! Embossing).
To finish, I used the Home for Christmas sentiment set, heat embossed in Ranger Graphite which is a dark pearly black, and then adhered the panel to black cardstock, using Bearly Art glue behind the solid green parts to hide the glue!
