Hi Everyone! I’m excited to be part of the Spellbinders March Clubs Blog Hop today! You should have arrived here from the amazing Virginia’s blog. Stay tuned to the end of the post for all of the stops on the hop and details of a GIVEAWAY!! I also have a video today! I’m featuring the March Stamp of the Month by Fun Stampers Journey – Stacking Sentiments.
I have a video showing you how I created today’s card, you can check it out on YouTube or here:
To create the card, I first diecut a circle out of masking paper trimmed to the same size as an A2 size panel of cardstock, and then adhered the panel to a white panel of 80lb white cardstock.
I then used a variety of ink colors to stamp sentiments all over the circle mask, being sure to overlap the stamps with the edge of the circle, repeating with the larger sentiments first, then changing out to smaller sentiments to fill in the gaps.
I used a variety of aqua and pinks to stamp my sentiments, then ink blended some of the pale pink ink just very lightly around the edge of the masked window to add a little definition just before peeling it back to reveal the perfect sentiment circle below!
I heat embossed two more of the larger sentiments in white embossing powder onto black cardstock, trimmed them out and popped them up on foam squares at an angle onto the sentiment circle. As a finishing touch, I added some co-ordinating enamel dots to finish!
