Today we’re having a blog hop filled with inspiration using Altenew’s Watercolor Pan Sets Collection. The hop starts over at the Altenew blog and so I suggest you grab a cuppa and get ready to feast your eyes on all the painty goodness! Of course there are PRIZES for hopping with us. Stay tuned for more details.

I delved into my posts to find some of my favorite projects that feature the Watercolor Pan Sets. So those of you who aren’t new to my blog may recognise some of these!

This features the In the Woodland Stamp set, paired with the Window Slats 3D Embossing Folder. I created a no line watercoloring look by stamping with Vanilla Crisp Dye Ink first onto Coldpress watercolor paper. I then watercolored it using the Artist’s Watercolor Pan Set.
This card also features no line watercoloring with Vanilla Cream ink, but uses the Altenew 36 Pan Watercolor Set, paired with the Paint-A-Flower: Dahlia Bright Eyes stamp set.
This card features the Altenew Watercolor Essential 12 Pan Set, paired with the Peony Sunshine 3D Embossing Folder. If you’ve never tried painting dry embossed watercolor cardstock, I highly recommend it. The embossed areas make it easy to follow along and know where to add shading.
This card features the Altenew Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set, paired with the Watercolor Garden Layering Die Set. I love the look of the metallic watercolors on black cardstock, so I die cut all pieces from Jet Black cardstock first then painted them.
