Hi Everyone!
Its a new month and that means its time for the new kit clubs from Spellbinders! I’m kicking off my projects today by featuring the June Glimmer of the Month, and elements from the the Large Die of the Month.
This card is really clean and simple, yet looks super glitzy due to the products I used! I first created my sentiment by hot foiling onto glossy white cardstock the main Happy Birthday sentiment from the Glimmer of the Month kit club in my new favorite foil- Speckled Aura. Isn’t it glam!? I die cut it out with the coordinating die and again once more with 110lb cardstock and adhered them together with liquid glue.
I also foiled and die cut one of the fun sentiment strips too – love these (a bit mean though! Mine is totally for my husband!)
For my background, I used the strips die from the Large Die kit club. I cut strips of white cardstock a few times, and also strips of gold holographic cardstock, then layered them onto a panel of white cardstock trimmed to a little smaller than 4.25″ x. 5.5″ with thin foam tape strips. I did leave gaps between the strips to show the dimension.
I mounted the panel onto a white notecard then popped on the sentiment strip and main foiled sentiment with foam. To finish I had some matching holographic sequins in my stash (Vegas Baby! by Catherine Pooler) which perfectly finished my card!
Isn’t it so cool how it looks different colors depending on the angle!?
