Good morning everyone! Are you ready for a new Essentials Release from Pinkfresh Studio? Essentials are those crafting staples that you can use on just about any project – and believe me you will! ANDDDD Pinkfresh is releasing its popular jewels in individual bags so you can replenish your stash with your favorites! We are celebrating the new release with a blog hop today – and stay tuned for details on the giveaway!

I’ve created two cards today to share with you that both feature the Anemone Magic Washi tape. One features a standard A2 size card, and the other features the brand new Mini-Slimline size, which Pinkfresh has now got coodinating dies and an envelope die!! (They are also releasing a die for full size Slimline envelopes in this release).

To create my card, I used the largest of the brand new Blanket Stitched Circle Die in the upper centre of an A2 panel of white cardstock. It creates a frame on the negative and a smaller circle die cut. I’m just featuring the negative on this card.

I then ink blended Slumber and Soft Lilac inks over the panel and adhered it to a white notecard with foam tape.

I created my images using the Anemone Magic Washi Tape and coordinating die by adhering the tape onto white cardstock first, then die cutting. I then slipped a few pieces (with some careful snipping) under the Blanket outline, adhering with foam squares for dimension. I also added a few leaves die cut from gold metallic cardstock using the leaves from the Garden Wreath die set.

My sentiment was stamped in Detail Black ink (from the Be Strong stamp set) and I finished with a few Bubble Gum and Ballet Slipper jewels!

My second card features the Mini Slimline Essentials Bundle – this is choc full of mini nesting frames and circles with different finishes. I used the largest stiched rectangle in the set and die cut a piece of patterned paper from the 12×12 Keeping It Real paper pack.

I also used the same panel of paper to die cut the Mini Slimline Envelope. You need to cut two of the flap dies. I recommend on the second cutting, flipping your patterned paper over and cutting on the ‘back’ as your second flap will be on the opposite side of your envelope base. I adhered the envelope together with slim double sided tape and used some decorative brads with gold thread to provide a pace to secure the flap.

I die cut the Essentials Slimline Bundle diagonal circles from white cardstock and pink glitter cardstock twice then adhered them together and popped them up onto my main panel with foam tape (which I adhered to a white notecard created to just form a small border around the outer edge).

I snipped some of my ‘extras’ from the Anemone Magic die cutting I did earlier, and slipped them under and on top of the die cut circles. You’ll see I also used one of the circle dies to die cut the washi cuts, to give that diagonal stitched edging, and to mount perfectly on top of one of the circles on the top!

My sentiment is from the Celebrating You hot foil plate. I hot foiled it in Matte Gold Glimmer foil by Spellbinders and die cut it with the coordinating die. I die cut it once more and adhered together with the foiled piece to make a sturdier sentiment and mounted onto the bottom circle. I finished with some Jewels in Lavender!
