Hi everyone!
I’m swooping in with a clean and simple and BRIGHT card today that features a sentiment from the brand new Love Conquers stamp set from Gina K Designs, designed by the amazing Emily Loggans featuring her wonderful swoopy script font.
I decided to overlay it on some ink blending using the amazing Electro Pop inks. I grabbed a panel of white cardstock and adhered the Sunshine stencil over the top using Pixie Spray. I then blended Electro Pop inks in Hello Yellow (all over the full length of the rays), Orange Glow (about half way down from the outside edge) and Raging Red (just around the edges). I then removed the stencil AND PUT ON SUNGLASSES – LOL!
Using my MISTI, I stamped the Love Can Conquer sentiment directly over the center of the ink blending in Electro Pop Potent Purple. I left the stamp in the MISTI and shifted the cardstock ever so slightly and restamped the sentiment in black ink, stamping twice to get good coverage. This leaves a slight purple shadow that really makes the sentiment pop! I did the same again with a few of the little heart stamps from the set and mounted it onto a panel of black cardstock, before adhering to a white notecard.
