I have two cards to share with you today on my video, featuring two ways to use Nuvo Glacier Paste. You can check it out on my YouTube channel and below:
I had so much fun making these cards. I explain a little about the difference between glimmer paste and glacier paste in the video but essentially it’s flatter when dry, less textured, and gives almost a gold leaf (or whatever color the paste is) type effect.
I used Quicksilver and Frostbite Glacier pastes for my cards. I show you how to do two techniques, including stencilling, die cutting (and mixing it with heat embossing).
I really recommend checking out the video as it gives you a good feel for how shiny this stuff is in real life. The Quicksilver is almost like a mirror!
While I only used two of the more subtle colors the paste comes in, it comes in a variety of others, including pretty christmassy colors! I can’t wait to try those next!
