Hi Folks!
It’s time for another Time Out Challenge and this week our sponsor is the wonderful Topflight Stamps! Play along and be in with a chance to win $25 to spend in their store!
Today I’m using one of my favorite stencils from Topflight – the AALL&Create Barbary Stars – I love the mandala-esque pattern.

I decided to use it with some glitter paste over pale blue cardstock to match the color of the inspiration photo for the challenge. While it was drying, I die cut the top layer from the Layered Congratulations by Paper Rose Studio several times from the same pale blue cardstock, and then once from Neenah Metallic cardstock. I stacked them all together using liquid adhesive.

I die cut the second layer of the die from vellum and then adhered it to the stacked Congratulations. I then adhered the entire piece to the now dry stenciled panel, before mounting it onto a landscape white note card.

I always like to embellish my mandalas by adding gems in key parts of the pattern. For this one I added some gorgeous blue drops by Nuvo, and some Iridescent Bubbles by Studio Katia.

You can play along by linking up your card inspired by the photo over on the Time Out Challenges home page. The products I used are linked below and are available over at the Topflight Stamps store.
