I chose to no-line watercolor my PAF today. And I actually repeat stamped it to add more flowers. I’m using Butternut Crisp Dye Ink to stamp with – the light color inks are perfect for no line watercoloring.
I used the Artists Watercolors Pan set and a small Altenew watercolor brush for my painting. I used a pale wash of a corally toned color all over, then added yellows to the tips of the petals, and deepened the shadows in the folds of the petals with more concentrated color.
I added pale green wash on the leaves and then deepened the color towards the area where the leaves. met the stem or were overshadowed by the rose flower. I added a pale wash of blue to the background, and lots of splatters to finish.
I heat embossed the sentiment directly over the top of the painting using Copper Crisp Embossing Powder. I finished with a few clear droplets.
