I’m over on the WOW! Embossing Blog today featuring three ways to use heat embossing with stencils!
I created a video showing you how I made each of these cards as well which you can check out here or over on YouTube.
My first card simply uses the embossing ink pad to stencil ink onto the cardstock, which I then heat embossed with Sparkling Sand – all of the embossing powders I’m using today are from the new WOW! Dockside Trio of embossing powders.
My second card takes this one step further and after the first layer of heat embossing with Oiled Slate, I created my own DIY embossing glitter paste with translucent embossing paste and WOW! Neutral Ultra Shimmer over the top. I just love these stamps from Simon Says Stamp’s Stronger Together for bold fun sentiments.
My third card uses the last powder from the trio – Glassy Ocean. I stenciled on the pattern from the remaining DIY paste, then sprinkled bits of Glassy Ocean over the top then heated to create a pretty dimensional sparkly blue pattern
