As you might know, we are focusing on stocking up our Christmas card stash over at WOW! Embossing this month. I thought I’d take the opportunity to let you know my top three WOW! embossing powders for using on Christmas cards which I’m featuring over on the WOW! blog today. I made three cards, with each card featuring one of the powders. And there’s a video!

My first card features the awesome Rockin Red embossing glitter. I just love how this looks on kraft cardstock.
It shimmers red and green which are perfect for Christmas, and it heat embosses beautifully.
My second card features Sparkling Snow. Not only does this sound like Christmas, I love it because it’s OPAQUE glitter which is just fab for classier Christmas cards.
You can see how perfectly it shows up on dark Navy cardstock, and it basically goes with any other embossing powder too. I’ve paired it with Metallic Silver here.
My final embossing powder is Peppermint Scrub. It has an unusual dusky red color, embedded with huge chunks of holographic glitter, gold and white embossing powders, which means it’s great for a ‘bejewelled’ look.
I just love this powder for coating die-cuts, and it’s also a little different from traditional Christmas colors.
