I used my Daniel Smith watercolors to color the rest of the image, including the straw. When dry, I adhered the sentiment sleeve on top. For the base I used 85lb Neenah Solar White and splattered Dylusions spray in black using a paint brush. When dry, I popped the coffee up on foam squares.
For the straw, I cut a small slit in the top of the cup and inserted the straw. I added liquid adhesive to ensure it stayed in place and a glue dot on the other end to keep the dimension. As a finishing touch I added Glossy Accents all over the ‘plastic’ bubble of the coffee cup and called it done.
I really enjoyed making this card – it’s fun to play around with dies and can be hard to keep it Clean and Simple!! Make sure you join us this week over at AAA for a chance to win. Be sure to check out our Guest Designer Judy’s card – it’s fabulous.
Have a wonderful weekend!
