Hi Everyone!
We have a new challenge over at AAA Cards – Blending! There is $20 for the winner up for grabs courtesy of our sponsors, Happy Little Stampers to spend in their store.
For my card, I prepped some Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock with a powder tool and stamped the My Favorite Things Geometric Grid background stamp in Versamark ink. I then heat embossed with Hero Arts white embossing powder.
I then used a selection of inks from Simon Says Stamp that went well together and inked all over the background. I die cut the Winnie and Walter Cheers Cutaway and adhered with Ranger Multi Medium Matte to a 110lb Neenah Solar White card base.
I was careful to die cut the word in the middle of the inked piece so that I could also use the negative part of the cut to create a second card!
You can blend whatever you like, however you like, but remember to keep your cards CAS – Clean and Simple.
We do hope you’ll join in the fun this week, can’t wait to see what you come up with!! (I hope you have the AC cranked in this crazy hot weather if you’re in the US!!)
Have a wonderful weekend!
Jenny

I think it was a happy accident but the cheers die cut on its own looks like different colours to the background card. Weird! Thanks Jane
