Hi everyone,
Time to start the year off the right (and fun!) way with a card challenge. This week CAS-ual Friday stamps have asked participants to choose a word that describes what I hope for the new year.
I love travel and I also fully expect some big things to happen this year to do with family and work in particular. A great many of these things are likely to really change the course of my life. As a result I’ve chosen the word ‘Journey’. It really sums up how I look at life, and how I deal with the ups and downs. It’s all one big experience.
I’m also planning to send this to my brother, who could do with some positivity at the moment!
The plane is stamped in Hero Arts Shadow Ink in Cornflower on Simon Says Stamp white cardstock. The image is from the Stampers Anonymous Set ‘Air Travel’. The sentiment is a combination of Papertrey Ink ‘Wonderful Words: Snow Mini’ and Simon Says Stamp ‘Life is a Journey’ stamp, stamped in Versafine Black and Ranger silver embossing powder. I finished it off with navy (hard to tell in the pic) enamel dots and foam taped to the Simon Says Stamp white Woodgrain cardstock.
It’s a card that makes me feel really happy.
That’s all for now folks!
Jenny
