I’m still playing with the awesome Toucan Do It stampset from Catherine Pooler Designs. It’s SO CUTE and I just love that Toucan!
I stamped the Toucan in Midnight ink on Premium White yardstick, and colored him in by smushing Catherine Pooler Inks onto a craft mat and picking them up with a Zig Blender pen. I used It’s a Boy to add shading round his face and to the flowers, and then Tiara and Orange Twist for his beak and the flower centers. The leaves were Grass Skirt and Lime Rickey, which co-ordinate with the Tropical Treasures patterned paper. I then die cut the images and set aside.
I cut an A2 panel of the Tropical Treasures paper with the ferns on it. I then ink blended Grass Skirt round the edge to give it a little dimension.
I stamped the sentiment in embossing ink directly to the centre of the panel and heat embossed in WOW! Metallic Gold embossing powder. I then popped all of the die cuts on varying thicknesses of foam squares, to add a little dimension.
As a finishing touch, I added Vegas, Baby! sequins by Catherine Pooler all around !
